Proper Typing Posture for RSI Prevention

How you type matters as much as what you type on. Master the correct typing form.

Proper typing posture: shoulders relaxed and down, elbows at 90 degrees, forearms parallel to the floor, wrists straight and floating above the keys, fingers curved loosely over the home row. Type with a light touch — if you hear your keys bottoming out, you're hitting too hard. Take a 10-second shake-out break every 20 minutes to reset your hand and forearm muscles. Use our Posture Score tool to check your form.
